The Vanilly Armchair continues the series’ minimalist ethos, with smoothly flowing armrests that harmonize seamlessly with the overall structure. Building on the ergonomic foundation of the Vanilly Dining Chair, its carefully adjusted dimensions and curves provide enhanced support for the arms and lower back. The front-round, rear-square legs maintain the design philosophy of blending modernity with tradition, while the soft Nordic-style upholstered backrest adds a relaxed touch to the clean, refined silhouette.
After working in well-known furniture manufacturer in Japan for 15 years, Yoshiharu Katsube started to establish himself as an independent furniture designer. Since then, he has cooperated with over 30 furniture brands in Japan and became famous for his unique style.
He began to work with Mexarts since December, 2011 and participated in the design and development of Woodnote collection.
