The bench is very often a piece of furniture that is neglected in modern housing so in designing the WINDSOR bench it was very important to capture something elegant and unique, which would make the bench a nice freestanding item in the house. It is based on the design of Noir chairs and with its stretched long form it creates a bridge-like elegant form.
The thin round pins that holds the legs in place furthermore underlines the idea about elegant bridges with crossbars and transparent structures. The upholstery is slightly thicker to visually define the feeling of comfort.
