Starbucks CAFE & Art Gallery Yanaka Goten-zaka, located in the historically rich “Yanesen” district—renowned for its evocative Shitamachi atmosphere—reimagines the café as a cultural intersection of art and daily life. Conceived as a “point of convergence between coffee and contemporary art,” the space seamlessly integrates café functions with curated art exhibitions, forming a hybrid cultural platform where everyday rituals and artistic expression co-exist.
Mexarts Contract delivered tailored product solutions for the project, contributing original pieces distinguished by their refined artistic sensibility and spatial poetics. These designs help articulate a layered experience in which coffee culture and contemporary art dialogue effortlessly, infusing new energy and contemporary relevance into this century-old cultural district.
