International Design Museum — Where Art Meets Everyday Life
Mexarts Tianjin Aesthetic Living Gallery serves as the design, experience, and communication center of Mexarts’ China headquarters. Covering 1,500㎡, the space was designed by Japanese designer Tomoko Terada from the Mexarts Design Institute.Since its opening in 2015, the gallery has welcomed numerous esteemed guests, including A. Carsten Damsgaard, Danish Ambassador to China; Lars Bo Larsen, Minister Counsellor; Liz Muller, Starbucks Global Chief Design Officer; Manabu Kawada, Director of YAMAHA Design Laboratory; Anders Eilersen, fourth-generation successor of Eilersen; and renowned Japanese designer Masayuki Kurokawa, among many other international brand and institution representatives. The gallery has also curated a wide range of art events and lifestyle exhibitions, sharing inspiring experiences of design and living.
Inside the gallery, visitors can explore Mexarts’ signature original designs, along with museum-grade Nordic classics and curated pieces from global design brands—together creating an artful lifestyle environment that awakens imagination and reflection on the beauty of design.
